I agree that a good player has more of an edge in live $1\$2 than the online equivalent, but I think in general the edge may be due to more fish in the live games, and\or being willing to take your time. Points taken though. It takes a lot of self-awareness, self-control, and good bankroll management to avoid busting your roll online.
