Live poker relies a lot on physical tells, timing, and body language. But online, everything is different.

So what do you think: are online reads just as important as live reads, or is the game more “pure” online?

I feel like timing, bet sizing, and patterns can reveal just as much online as physical tells do live.
Interested to hear how others see it.

Live = reading the person. Those signals can matter, but they’re noisy, inconsistent, and often misleading
Online = reading the patterns. These online “tells” are often more reliable than anything you get live.

Exactly! Live tells can be interesting, but they’re often unreliable and hard to interpret. Online patterns, like bet sizing, timing, and tendencies, usually give much clearer and consistent information if you pay attention
