I have never owned a poker book in my life. Don't know if this is good or bad. But I'm thinking of using my 800 points on stars to get this one.

Fundamentals of Poker by Mason Malmuth - FPP Store

So tell me please is it any good, or is it strictly for beginners.

I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing that people these days have never heard of Mason Malmuth.

Oh, and added to say: I haven't read it. There are probably better books to get. But there are so many.

GOOOD!

P.S. - Only poker books I own are 7-card stud for advanced players and Hi-Lo Split Poker. There's just so much information on the internet about Hold'em, I can't justify buying any books.

Bad.....

I personally couldn't jusify buying ANY book as there is so much free stuff all over the inter-net, not to mention alot of it right here--and you're no beginner, so using those FPPs to play poker with on PS would be a better investment, I think!
