His character is that of a know it all. Telling people how to play, gets my goat. I have not seen him finish in top 5 in a very long time.

He´s probabliy the most overestimated pokerplayer in world. Never like him just becouse he have no skill at all. We never see him making a talented move, a re-raise, a huge bluff just becouse he have no talent, that´s why he only play AA,KK and sometimes QQ. Sorry to all his fans but 90% of poker world agrees with me.

Hellmuth is a great player for sure-
I think he knows his bratty table talk gets to people sometimes too-
I think he is very entertaining... it is just funny to watch phil play sometimes. he says some funny stuff--- ofcourse people hate him too, but his antics make me laugh

Phil Hellmuth is not my favorite player. But one thing he has is a very good memory! He's very observant and he still remember hands that he played or other players played almost 10-15 years ago! He and Doyle are one of those guys who have very good memories. That's why they won a lot.Those 13 wsop bracelets were no giveaways. He definitely earned it. But is he the best player?? IMHO, he's not but he's one of the best out there.
His antics on the other hand is what makes Phil Hellmuth The Phil Hellmuth he is now known for today. Love him or hate him but he is definitely fun to watch.

He's my favorite player of all time. He was the best all-around poker player @ the time of his death & Ivey was a close 2nd.
