Sometimes I'm thinking about playing the main event. I know there's a 10000$ buy in, but then I think of how much it will cost to fly to LA, pay the hotel.. etc..

Suddenly I wake up and see that i'm playing microstakes with wooden pennyes and my daydream gets crushed.

Hi, it would be great to play live events. Here in my city we have them wednesdays and sundays in the casino but the buy in is very expensive and, although i have a lot of experience playing online poker, live poker is a very different game.

I highly recommend playing live if you can, whether it's a cash game or a tournament. I played casino poker live for first time about 6 months ago, fell in love with it. Still play online, but live is where the money's at and it's just to me much more fun.

It plays much different than online so takes some adjustments for sure, I lost my first $1/2 live BI quite quickly! But if you can afford to try it, or you win an online MTT like I did that gave me the chance to take the shot, go for it! Make it a goal to try it!

ive played in many live mtt,s at my local casino ,i havent ever played in major live tourny,maybe one day but not any time soon

Why players are divided into those who plays online and live poker? probably they have so got used and have found themselves there. So even professionals online like to play not everything in live poker, in other words they don't play it.

I playing from live and online, it's a very different platform. I've playing WSOP events and local when I only had to commute roughly 35 minutes to Commerce Casino to play Cash games. Always keep in mind if, your bankroll and discipline is the most important thing, never chase.

I've been an active played since 94' and from experience, when hold em' became main stream it was not necessary easier, but compare to now it is saturated with individuals that may spend all they save to meet their goal to by in for a live game.
