playing cards

need to know where I can find good playing cards at the best price.

Local private game (no poker rooms where I live) are looking for reasonably priced playing cards in bulk (plastic).

Can't seem to find any great deals etc.. .

If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great, thanks!

Yeah I would check Amazon first. You may also be able to find some at ebay but if you buy off ebay make sure it says that the cards are new in the description.

I am not sure of the post because it was one that I read in my first few weeks on CC but will check and see if I can look it up for you...I have always used basic cards but the people talking about these cards were saying these cards were the cats meow...

Edit: but they were 12 bucks a pack...

that's a great deal.

make sure you get 100% plastic cards, they are worth the extra money.
Paper/plastic coated cards will only last a game or 2 before they are unusable (other than at the kids table).
100% plastic cards will do in a casino for about a week (more if they are cared for) thats a solid 8-10 of use by every tom, dick and scumbag dirty nose picker that comes in the place.

up to $12 a pack for a deck that will last you weeks in a home game vs $2 a pack of plastic coated that will go 2 games max.

Also learn to wash and care for them, they will go way longer.
