My super competitive nature was quelled once I got older and then when my health problems permanently stopped my ability to work and have some form of a social life, poker has been a godsend for me. Now I have social interactions at the poker table and online. It has given me something to think about and save me from a deepening depression. So YES, poker is now a large part of my current life!!
