Nowadays no at all, if poker ends today I'm going to be sad of course, but I'll forget in a few weeks. But when I started to play poker many years ago, I also had to play almost everyday and I used to miss the game the days I couldn't play.

When I started playing I became very addicted, to the point where instead of sleeping I would spend the night playing, but over time I started playing more carefully...

No, and having to play every day just to feel good isn’t a healthy situation to be in, in my opinion.

Poker for me is fun, but if I don’t play for a day or even a week it has no adverse effect on my well being. Being addicted to any form of gambling (even if you currently only play freerolls) is a recipe for disaster as it could escalate.

I'd also like to play every day, but unfortunately I don't have the opportunity. But in my case, it's not an addiction to the game, it's just a desire to devote time to my favourite hobby. I play mostly freerolls and don't spend any of my own money on the game.

I'm addicted of money, not poker. Poker is a really exciting game, but if I was offered at least $300-400 a month not to play poker, I would accept it without a hesitation. :sneaky:

Everyday for how long? It has to be for real money or just play?

I swapped some bad habits for poker and gym, so yeah the free rolls and having consistent games made the transition period a lot easier, but have found myself falling asleep during the late games😔

Why would something need to pay you in order for you to not play? Hypothetically of course.

There is an opinion that in order to become a successful professional poker player, you need to immerse yourself in this game. After all, such success requires a huge investment of time, not to mention the fact that it is very hard work, at least from a mental and psychological point of view. For this reason, a person who is passionate about the game has a significantly higher chance of reaching his goal and not giving up halfway. If you read the blogs and interviews of various players who have achieved some success in poker, you will see that many of them are ardent fans of this game and even somewhat addicted to it.Personally, I don't have an addiction.

Unfortunately, poker doesn't give you the fun you have in mind; maybe offline is more or less fun, brought to life, so to speak. But if you play 8 hours a day for a long time, poker even makes you tired.

Thank God the same thing doesn't happen to me as to you. Here in my neighborhood there is already a saying, if you play poker a lot you can lose money, but if poker becomes the only reason in your life you will lose money, your family, your life.

I would say not for me as I can go months without playing, mostly due to work and tiredness but sometimes I just don't get the itch to play

No I’m not addicted to poker because it’s more of a fun hobby for me. I find other gambling games like black jack or sports betting to be more addictive and scary. This is why I love poker because I can control myself when it comes to playing

This example shows that I am not addicted of poker, but I am addicted of money. What don't you understand?
