Starting on February 16th and running for six consecutive nights, Cole South (CTS), David Benefield (Raptor), and Taylor Caby (Green Plastic) - all of them cardrunners instructors - will face off against seasoned vets Doyle Brunson, Eli Elezra, and Gabe Kaplan on NBC's Poker After Dark. Rather than the typical $20,000 buyin sit-n-go format, they will be playing a $200/$400 NLHE cash game with a $100,000 buyin.

Preview on http://www.cardrunners.net

CTS pwns Doyle in that hand. :D

This is gonna be really awesome. Definitely expecting a "net" to win this event, dunno which though. What are your predictions?

Anyone see last night's ep? Nets didn't make a great showing imo. Kaplan managed to bluff them off the best hands.

I agree. Maybe they need a little time to settle into their game. I'd be surprised if Kaplan would be able to get away with that for long.

What loosens up the play is that they play 250bb deep at 6max.

Also they play with a $100 ante which forces players to loosen up dramatically.

Today Friday the 20th
Raptor all week was stating that interneters play more hands than pros....at 1000 + an hour....

Today Raptor raises with 56 off suit and called by Doyle..K J
FLOPS 66K...Raptor hits trips and tries to bait Doyle is thinking Raptor has KQ or KA so then crap card and the J on the river...Doyle re-raise Raptor 40K$ and after thinking it out Raptor folds trip 666???

Just goes to show that if you see 1000+ hands an hours and 85% of those hands are won with bad cards...the internet players play crap for they know that pros play tight and good cards...

So when hit with the dillema Raptor fold=goes to show that on the internet and LIVE play isn't the same....Internet nobody is there and you can yell all you want in your home while LIVE =you shake in your boots especially faceing a Doyle or seasoned vet......

they should make some online tables with antes. Will keep those people out who wait for AA's and KK's and fold every other hand.

One of the better PaD's in while
