Poker doesnt cause insomnia, but may be a trigger for you, i recommend to meditate what is going on and why its causing the insomnia, if it worth it (i guess the rational answer is no). All its about self-education, and poker doesnt worth to cause insomnia, and of course, any drug to relieve is going to develop a worse situation, just think about why its causing insomnia and relieve yourself.
