I do not think there is much similarity between Poker and chess.

  1. chess heads up / Poker multi players
  2. chess 32 pieces and a board 64 squares / poker 52 pieces only two to play 5 community cards.
  3. chess move and time controlled / poker cash.. no limits
  4. chess all components visible/ poker concealed.
  5. chess no random component / Poker total randomness
  6. chess not usually played for financial risk / Poker... Risk
  7. chess best player wins 90 percent../. Poker 10
Poker... its luck from the hold cards you are dealt, when you are dealt them, and what your opponents are dealt. ( bad Play rewarded)
Chess its a slight advantage for white... no real luck involved. ( just bad play punished)

Chess is a very cool game that develops your mind and can be very helpful in life. Poker is also a great game, especially live, but it depends more on luck.

Chess and poker have the issue of strategic thinking in common. Any flaws in details can lead to defeat and also refined techniques with logical thinking can lead to victory. The decision to be taken will depend on each player's head. They are very different games, but with very similar strategies in terms of success or failure during the development of actions.

Poker and Chess will never be the same in a profound way. Many will say the opposite, but that is simply the case, unless poker is played with each player's cards visible to all their opponents or if in chess they bet on each move and you can withdraw if it does not suit you. Poker is also a matter of luck to a large extent, so much so that if it were not then experienced players would always win.

Well, both poker and chess require a lot of strategic thinking and planning ahead. But if you ask me, the biggest similarity between the two is that both games can make you feel like a genius one minute and a complete idiot the next. It's all about the highs and lows, baby! 🤪♠️♟️
