My take is, I cruise a lot already and typically I have no problem getting the cruise money back as well as half the drink bill just by playing the casino moaps that are playing  poker because they just want to try it or think they are good.  I have rarely come across a cruise where they was more than one other decent poker player - and then you both spot each other and just leave each other alone and pick off the scrubs.

If you go have fun!  Cruises ROCK!  Don't listen to the nay-sayers that hate them for whatever reason.  It wont be the most glamorous trip you have ever taken, and for the most part the public areas are germ infested craziness, but how is that unlike any poker room - its not.  Just wash your hands A LOT and don't touch your eyes or nose without clean hands and you will be fine.

Oh and forgot to add, you will have to take someone with you or find someone to share a room, because ALL cruises are booked on double occupancy - meaning to get a ticket you must purchase two!
