If you are too tired to sit, you are too tired to play optimal poker. You are clearly tired if you have to lay down so better to sleep no doubt about it.

I play sitting at the laptop. but sometimes it happens that I'm playing lying down using a phone or tablet

I play sitting, and having attention and emphasis on my back being straight. Just this aspect alone - straight back - allows to concentrate and have results better. So, no, I never play horizontally, nor I suggest that to others.
