Come to think of it, that could explain my loathing of Arnold Schwarza-how-the-hell-do-you-spell-it? aka The Gubenator. Then there's Drew Barrymore. Normally she can do no wrong. I mean, I'm hard pressed to find a movie where I didn't at least have a good enough time watching to warrant so much as downloading via questionable channels. "Lucky You'" wasn't even that good. Drew's so bad in it. She's doing the best she can with what they gave her, but they gave her caca, consequentially she's just slightly better than crap. I don't care how adorable her lisp is, or how sweetly she smiles, those things alone can't carry an entire movie. Seriously, ask yourself if you'd throw the main event for your father who has pretty much been a deadbeat since you were a little kid. Now ask yourself if you really like poker. If you answered yes to both questions then you're lying to yourself. I liked "Lucky You" with massive amounts of pain killers coursing through my system. Without the chemicals, the movie's just gross. I'm sorry, but it's really that bad. I couldn't find any redeeming qualities. I was looking for them too. I normally love Robert Duvall and Drew Barrymore. Normally I love them enough to sit through Eric Bana. It says a lot when I couldn't love the movie even with two actors I normally enjoy watching.
