I wouldn't have a strong female player as a lead actor. Strong poker players are almost by definition bad actors. And some of the best would be incapable of showing any subtle emotion that's required in an acting role. They're just too used to supressing those things. I would however have a strong female player as the lead character. A bio-pic. For some reason I'm positive Dakota Fanning could do an amazing job in "Tight! The Jennifer Harman Story", so I'm weird. There's just something eerily full-force about that little kid and she's got the blonde hair and big blue eyes to boot. "Texas Dolly the Doyle Brunson story" would be good too. Okay Doyle's not female, I might have alluded to his being a woman by accident. Just to clarify, he's a man. It'd be great if he'd dish about you before you're dead though. First ya gotta die then he'll dish. On the bright side I'm starting to think he'll outlive everyone. That when the apocolypse comes there'll be nothing left but Cher and Doyle playing heads up(Doyle will totally kick her butt for the first couple of hundred years), with rats and roaches scurrying around. Not for nothing, but "Phil Gordon" could be easily played by Nicholas Cage. That'd be pretty cool. Wonder how high Nick's lifts would have to be. Ooh who'd play Phil Hellmuth? I'm thinking Kevin Spacey cuz he's tops at playing hard to like, whiny, jerks(some would say a feminine hygiene product, but not me no sir). Anyway, Kevin Spacey could do it, but he'd still need those darn lifts, or they'd have to hire dwarves to fill out the cast. My ideal movie exists I just can't find it. It's the documentary with Gus. Apparently John Juanda's in it as well. It wouldn't have to be Gus mind you, just any high level pro with cameras following them around and them getting their brain picked in an intelligent way(yeah that goes out to PokerNews.com which mostly features interviews made out of marshmallow). The thing is, this movie exists. I'd have it if I lived in Denmark. Why oh why couldn't I have been born in Europe where non-American made films don't get completely ignored unless they're beyond spectacularly good?
