terrible are the people who offend others in all forms of society and not just in poker.

Not all players are liars. I frequently tell the other Players I got the Nuts, but they dont believe me and Pay and Triple bet.
And when I say I have nothing I am just bluffing.. then.... they Fold! ???'
I guess they just dont trust me!

Haha you put this in a nice way. I think poker shows us the reality of human life. We do the same to our friends, wife's etc. but at the end, the winner get all and that is the same in life.

Poker players are wonderfull people, I mean look at Tony G, and Chris Ferguson, and Phil Hellmuth, and well you and me. Fantastic human beings with a love of life and chips.

If humans were all great, there would be no war, no famine, disease would have been wiped, no politicians and no borders. But I think we have all of those things still.

i must disagree. There are a lot good people i've had chance to meet at the tables, especially here at Cardschat. What makes a difference is that a "good poker people" consider this game like they supposed to, as a game

Since I rarely talk during a hand, simply putting chips into a pot would not qualify as lying...bluffing or acting weak is a strategy, not lying. When I play live, I am usually playing against the same people time after time. I enjoy their company and chitchat between hands, but we all know that poker is about competition....I tell no lie!

That would be a great way for countries to settle disputes. Bring the leaders to a poker table and battle it out.
