When you are doing your yearly taxes how do you add your winnings, lets say the buy in is $60 and you walk a way with $76 would you add the $76 or just the profit of $16 and dose it work the same with cash games?

I don't think you have to worry about a profit of $16... nor do i know how you could enter a $60 tournament and cash for $76, but i'm no CPA.

i place like 17th pretty much just got my money, just a weird question that i thought up. i was also reading somewhere that it is a felony to play online in some states what is the reasoning for it being a unlawful.
