First post, hopefully posting in right spot.
Custom build.
Building a poker table. My room is 9ft. Want to leave 3 ft on both sides for chairs and room (I really don't want to short this space for comfort and dinging up my walls), so then I have 36 inches for poker table I build (or commission). Normal table width is 44-46 inches. At first blush, I don't see a real problem with shorting the width.....I would still plan to have a 6-inch cushion, leaving 24-inch of playing space. Curious if any of you have perspective.
