Post #500 Thank you

I just wanted to take the opportunity of my 500th post to thank everyone here.

The advice that floats around here I sometimes disagree with, but thats rare, and most of the time it gives me the chance to reflect on my own play and try to improve on it.

I've gone from not even knowing what starting hands to play, to being able to play pot odds with weaker speculative hands. Lately I've even been expanding styles to include a LAG style, and becoming better at reading flop textures.

I still make mistakes. Actually a lot of mistakes, but I've grown enough to realize the skill involved in poker where a year ago I solidly felt it was 100% pure luck.

A year and a half ago I deposited $100. Now I've got near $400 and that increase can be directly attributed to these forums to a very large extent, so...
