Hi.
In advance, neither option is suitable.
But of course, everything depends on the stage of the tournament and its structure, on the opponents, on your stack.

None of them ….
if suited AQ then it is a bit stronger than 22
if unsuited 22 is best
good luck with the gambling :):)

The decision to go all-in preflop with AQs or 22 should be based on a careful assessment of the specific situation you are in, taking into account your position, your opponents' stack sizes and playing styles, and your own playing style and risk tolerance .

22
a ready-made hand, and it will be stronger than even suitable AQs

depends on the ICM position and the opponent, but I think AQ would have chosen, although 22 is better in mathematics

It depends of some factors, but most of the times I would prefer AQ.

Hi.
In my opinion, a ready pair in hand always has a better chance. But how I would play it depends on many factors that you did not specify.

There are many variables to make such a decision such as position, stage of the tournament, the amount of chips you and your opponents have, the style of play of your opponents.. everything matters, there are no set standards how to play such cards, each case has different variables and from this should be our decision.

Hi there

I'd prefer the AQs. It has more outs than 22. My experience with 22 is that if they hit something on the board (which they always seem to do), or they call with a higher pocket pair, I'm basically gone, and leaves me with only 2 outs. I'd rather have all the suited cards, 3 Aces, 3 Queens to possibly save my bacon.

None of them, except if I am very short stack and in a push or fold strategy. And in this case I would prefer AQ suited... even if deuces never lose

In an extreme situation where you have to push, I'd prefer AQ.

if A Q is suited, the chances are about 50/50, if offsuit 2 2 has 1% more chances, there cannot be a definite or correct answer, what do you choose - heads or tails?
