Well I had a bash at these. $5.40 tables. Won 2 lost 3.
In the 3 I lost I was way ahead most of the early stages with 2500-3500 chips. The trouble is invariable everyone else gradually catches up. The play is generally tight with a lot of mixed in all-in bluffs which you can't call without a premium hand.
Four of the games simply ended up with 6 people all with chips ranging from 1500-3500. The chips just moved back and forth between the players with no-one really getting anywhere. The blinds creep up and it just becomes a shove-in and
bluff fest. You raise with any Ace or pair. It's like heads up but with 6 people.
Skill involved = pretty much none at all. It's in the lap of the card Gods.
Of my 3 losing games 1 was lost with my all-in raise of KK which was beaten by AA (q'uell suprise ). Another was lost with my AQ getting beaten by AK, and the third lost to a 2 outer flush.
In short, no different to any other games on FT or PS. Same crazy dealing.
Overall I wasted some 2-3 hours on these 5 games and lost money. I can't see that they will really make anyone good money unless the cards really favour you. if there is a doomswitch then maybe there is the opposite, a Luckswitch for some people, who knows?
Bottom line here I think is you will win a few, lose a few, and it will be a long haul for most. All the time the site leeches your BR away in rake.
Great design games for them, not so good for us.
Just my opinion
