In many Countries It is the Poker site's responsibility to make sure they do as much as possible to make members aware of their own responsibilities when it comes to Gambling.
So Pokerstars does all it can to stay within the law with some of the more stringent Countries laws and because it would be too much hassle to have different software for each individual Country, they remind everyone as standard practice.
I have received E-mails from different site's that now offer provision for gambling responsibly, and I totally agree with it, here in the U.K. it does not stop at Poker sites, but includes, all forms of On-line gambling from Slots, Bingo, Sports Betting and anything else where the customer is being asked to use their own money to Gamble with.
All forms of Gambling should be considered a Fun pastime, and not a way to make easy money, because the House will always have an edge, and you can only win money from players who do not understand that. That is why I always remind people that "When the Fun Stops, STOP!" Because it is not fun to lose your own money, and I can assure everyone I have never made a deposit on any site, and all my Bankrolls are made by taking money off gullible players.
