I can see people maybe saying that online tournaments are somewhat setup to run a bit faster (players getting knocked out with set up hands preflop) to get the money rotating faster which in turn leads to more buy ins etc being paid back to the site. Also from personal point can say I have seen the runs that others said they have had when they put money in only to go bad the next day playing the same style.
