So for example say you're in a tournament, and there are 10 tables active... all 10 decks could be being shuffled continuously together and dealt out at random (this is done to ensure people can not predict/hack the software to enable them to know what card is coming next, again for security) If the program chooses a card that has already been in play.... it keeps drawing until it has drawn a card that has not yet been chosen in that hand, after all it is a computer and being a computer it is not capable of being random, its just PROGRAMMED to produce a RESULT. The result being DO NOT duplicate a value (the card) during one hand. So the pause for the river card could be the computer grabbing cards (again from more that one deck) that were already in play at that table, and needing to select another card (value) that has not been chosen/dealt in that hand. It's kinda hard to explain but i think i got it as good as I can... if you still are like wtf are you talking about you rigtard... LOOK IT UP, there is information out there about how these RNGs actually work. remember these programs are not capable of being random... they're just programmed to produce certain results over a certain number of hands.
