The point of it is unless you hit an ungodly bad run (as in more unlikely than getting hit by a car... while you're in bed) you will never go broke. If you want to risk a little more with more of a chance of reward (if you win you make money quicker but you give yourself a higher chance of doing what you did) that's fine, but then don't be surprised when bad BRM finds you busting, even if you played perfect poker.
