The thing is that it's not like I have 5 hours of stuff to do at home, so I get it all done as soon as I wake up, then I have the rest of the day off for poker.  It's all scattered and comes up randomly sometimes.  My oma moved in with us so I have to constantly check to make sure she's good, plus I have to walk my dog for a good hour every day.  Making meals (for both her and I) and eating doesn't seem like much, but when you're culinarily handicapped as I am, it tends to take a good chunk of the day to prepare stuff.  I feel I play much better when I sit down and get a good feel for the dynamic at my tables and play a good ~hour+ session.  I don't think I could stand playing in spurts of 15 minutes and shit, it's just too scattered.  It could also be that my time management is just really bad, who knows.

Anyways you're absolutely right that I could plug a million more hands a month.  I should definitely be playing more daily, it's just hard getting into the routine.  The heavy multitabling & vip line vs the fewer tables/lag/improvement line is a different argument, I thought that's what we were discussing.  Buy ya, you can see why I keep saying I envy you guys who go to school/have full time jobs and still manage to have the work ethic to plug in a million hands monthly.  I just don't know how you do it.
