BUT if you are still trying to nail down how to approach hands, how to think about hands, how to process hands this book can help.  It's subtitle is "VOL III: THE WORKBOOK".  It is not going to tell you how ala 'here's how it's done', but it provides a template by going through many different real life hands (some played right, some played wrong).  It will not work without your own creativity and detective work and some reading between the lines.  It is not 'do this', but rather 'I see what he's doing there, I'm going to have to incorporate that' or even 'what a bunch of malarkey'.

But there are times where you just want meat and potatoes.  When I started going through Vol 1 and 2 I hated those review hands at the end of each chapter.  They got in the way of me learning (so I thought) what I was there for.
If that's where you are at - this book is definitely not for you.  It's not a cover to cover sit down and read - it's a "I've got 15 minutes, I think I'll go through a hand."  Make it a 'hand of the week' thing and you'll be through it in a year.

So no, this 'book' does not make my top ten list - but I cannot dismiss it as without any value.
