"Ship It"

Can we now use "ship it" to include the act of going all in instead of the old usage referring to the act of the dealer moving chips to the winner of a hand? It seems like more and more are using it in this manner anyway.

I don't use this term no longer. But this is an insignificant change anyway

The best time to use poker phrases are in non-poker related activities with non-poker related people.

I very rarely ever hear "ship it" used at the table, so I don't give a rip either way.

If people start using the term "ship it" instead of "shove it", a perfectly adequate phrase IMNSHO, how are we to interpret a sentence like "He 4-bet so I shipped it." Did we go all-in or did we fold and ship the pot to the villain?
