Serious answer. What are the odds of what? Someone having those exact hands? Hands => AK? Hands that win three in a row? Absolutely this is an incredible run of cards but it's not like he predicted Aces followed by QQ and KK. From the way he writes it looks like he's going all in regardless cause he's short stack, he then gets AA which is nice but not too improbable. Things get more unlikely with the next two hands but still nothing fishy. A sort of related story. I do this thing a lot where I make outlandish predictions. I'll call the next number while the lottery is being drawn. I'll call the next card from a pack, or tell people to hold the pin at golf cause I'll sink the ball from off the green. Or the phones about to ring, or the next advert on the TV is going to be the toilet tissue one. At a home game once I called two cards in a row, river and turn (just the rank not the suit). The other night Mrs Irexes was watching me play and I twice (out of two tries) called the next card to be dealt in a tourny. Now I've got a bit of a reputation for being able to call stuff like this but all it is is that people remember the times it comes off and forget those it doesn't. I've heard people retell stories and it even grows with the telling (I'm not saying that's the case here, I trust Joose), but there's plenty of times I've had guys say similar things to this and either push and bust or fold when they get crap. I've also seen people live complain that they haven't had aces in ages and then get them the next hand a couple of times. Only one person has ever spotted me doing the prediction thing (the trick is to be subtle about it and not make a scene when you miss or make a fuss yourself when you hit) and I've known him a very long time. Back to your situation, there's a desire to ascribe the improbable as impossible but in a universe of infinite possibilities and with an almost infinite number of guys talking smack at the table, this kind of thing is almost a guarentee. (Incidentally I'm sure your tongue in cheek with the r1gged, but I like to type) Doesn't make any less unusual though :)
