And of course this is the reality for most players. Only a minority of players are winning, and only they can have a bankroll. Everyone else can only have a budget, since they will always lose their money in the end, if they continue playing long enough.

So maybe the real question here is, how do you make a poker budget. And I really dont think, there is any general answer to this, since it is so individual and personal. What is your financial situation, what are your family obligations, what other activities does playing poker compete with, how do you manage your money in general.

But for sure its probably not healthy, if you make new deposits after most of your sessions. Then its probably better to say, that your going to spend, I dont know, 50$ per month on playing poker, deposit these money after getting your paycheck and then not deposit again, until you have the next paycheck. In that way you force yourself to be at least a little bit disciplined, because losing it all in a single session mean, you can not play for the rest of the month.
