One of the leaders in it is somewhat of an avid student of poker.  It is more intensive than chat forums and geared to theory and science of poker.  Of course we talk about subjective things as well.  Feelings, mood, on tilt, BR management as well.  But a lot is posting HH and discussing leaks in ones game.  There are only 7 of us and I can tell you a group like this can improve your game rapidly.  Sort of like having a tutor.
Luckily one of the leaders is a good reader and reads the books more than once explaining Variance, EV, Implied odds to the less intellectually challenged and uses actual hands played to explain.  You need one of these guys and luckily he is also a pleasant person.  He also is a member of one of the Pro study groups like CardRunners etc so we have access to animated HH and articles and updates on new materials.
The group varies from young to old, male to female, emotional to cool, micro to medium stakes players.  We all SUPPORT each other and do not call each other idiots or donks as we will agree that we all are unbecoming "donks" in the first place.
Good luck with your quest.  Studying poker is endless and can be enjoyable.  I am now in Vegas playing in tournaments all over town. Playing the best I can play. I wouldnt have the confidence if it wasnt for the group.
