Short stack was all-in PF the other day, I'm sitting on AA and another guy called behind the short stack (I bet exactly enough to put the first guy all-in). The other guy in the pot with me now bets pot after a low flop. I almost fold because I figure what besides a set or 2 pair bets into an empty pot? Then I realize that actually top pair is more likely, probably pretty sure they're ahead now but worried about me staying in for free and hitting. So I call. In the end he shows down J5 (no 5 on board, the 5 was a gutshot though). Why do you put in a pot sized bet on a complete bluff? If I fold, he still loses unless he hits, and his bluff has won him a total of *drum roll* ZERO DOLLARS. If I call, unless he ends up hitting his gut shot (he could have thought a J would be good as well), he loses the money he put in. Never mind that he called an all-in PF with J5, I just can't believe people who bluff into empty pots. You're giving your opponent infinite odds on that pot. Unless either you think that over 50% of what they call with will still lose to you (ie you have a set or 2 pair, my first thought), or you have a hand that's probably the best (including beating the all-in) and want to discourage a hand from drawing (maybe he thought I had AK or something).
 
But yeah, throwing money away to rake and bluffing into an empty pot are 2 moves that are just so amazingly stupid.
