[QUOTE="RamdeeBen, post: 2483931, member: 71146"] lol, this. I hate the incorrect "there" used for "their" etc and so on but doesn't make me want to make a thread about it ;) Seriously though OP I'm unsure as to why it frustrates you so much. It isn't because the forum base is stupid, nor does it really make you look uneducated it's just a slang term and there are plenty that go on in poker. It's like, "But it was sooooooted, that's why I called" People then just started using sooted as opposed to suited, not because they can't spell the correct word and actual thought it was spelt that way, please don't tell me this is what you believe when you see sooted said on a poker forum lol. I'd actually believe if I saw someone using correct English for certain stuff and then saw someone using the "sooted" and other words I'd be more inclined to believe Mr.Poker.Slang was actually the more likely educated real card player than your proper English speaking chap. Another example; "Here is my giraffe" Clearly a poker slang a terms of graph, the same thing applies for the good old soooooted. There are tons of poker slang words out there I'm sure, not because people are uneducated. Maybe you're uneducated in the poker world, because if you was you would of guessed by now it's just common knowledge and used by tons of poker players. ;) I couldn't care less about what people mean so long as I understand what they are saying and their whole sentence isn't a mess peoples grammar just vary massively from person to person, all of which doesn't mean one is less educated than the other.
