After playing pretty infrequently I'm now up to $375, just from playing the $5 SNGs. I'm still on these as I want to be able to afford 40 buyins before I move up to the $10 SNGs. My question at this point is how much longer should I continue playing SNGs? I'm interested in playing ring games, but until now there doesn't seem to be much point. When I hit the magic $400 number I have the option of continuing with the SNGs, or moving to nl$10 - but I'm not sure which is best. The $5 SNGs have been easy so far, with plenty of bad players, but I imagine as the stakes go up so does the quality of play. My main concern with the SNGs is I don't think they're a good tool for improving my game. The play in them is rather basic, tight early, steal steal steal late. But on the other hand, I can't see nl$10 requiring anything but simple play either. I do plan on making the transistion at some point, but for now which should I do? a) move over to nl$10. b) stick with SNGs until I get to $1000 then move to nl$25 Any thoughts and comments greatly appreciated :) [/QUOTE]
