But Canadians pay 30% on winnings over $1200 in the US from certain games where gains and losses can be electronically tracked.

I live in the Republic of Belarus. I don't know exactly how much the tax on winnings is for foreign citizens, but I pay 13% of the winnings.

I'm from Brazil and the taxes vary depending of how much do you win per year, the max is 27.5%.

Ukraine - 18%.
In my country, there is such a tax and it is 18%. I've never paid it, but I think it would be right if such a tax was charged on winnings of, for example, more than $200 or $300 per month.

In the Republic of Belarus, the tax is 13% for citizens of this country, most likely the same for foreigners.

Recently, Ukraine added a tax for Ukrainian poker rooms - after the recent increase, it is about 25%, but for foreign rooms it turns out that the tax is not paid.

For Romania is 2% from deposit amount and 3%- 40% from cash-out amount

No tax in Canada. I wonder if you can write off losses in the USA. Does anyone know?

You can write off losses against any poker wins, but you cant write off more than you win.

No tax on winnings in Canada the only way to go in my opinion they tried a tax in casinos in Saskatchewan which is a Canadian province several years ago but canceled after the gambling dropped dramatically
