So I've been a member of the club for about two months in these two months I've learned so much I've been a sponge just capturing information and learning every day. Recently I came across the golden thread. in it I found an interview with Chris moneymaker just wanted to take the time to Thank the person responsible for making that interview happen. that is priceless information which just confirms my thoughts my ideas about the game, the sport of poker I am so grateful. Thanks for that Lark Marlow. If you haven't checked it out here it is. What an honor this is. Here are my questions: When did you start playing poker? Did you read any books, or just learn by playing? In the years following your big win, you were under such intense scrutiny. How did you cope with that? What are your dreams and plans for the future? Thanks again for being here, Lark. I started about a year and a half before winning main event. I was primarily a limit player back in those days. I learned by playing. I don't think you can learn all that much in books, you need to experience different situations and learn how people react I never felt any pressure. I am always hardest on myself, I play the game because I enjoy it and don't take it to seriously I want to raise my kids right and be a good role model. Also want to do what I can to grow poker and help others. See more in the golden thread thanks staff.
