The thing is how you respect your own game , I have done many punts in the near past but personally I keep thinking after my elimination how deeper I would have ran if my play was more pot controlling or with less high variance spots(real money tournaments).

I feel that you lack the incentive to play some good poker because
a)The prize top up is not a significant amount , If the prize up top was 5K?What then?
b) In freerolls the rest of the players don't either care and they just gamble or keep calling everything don't let them make you play like them.This is not poker - have done it too though because I was bored, I admit it!

I don't know how to call it but I feel that you are bored. If I were you I would have stopped for some days.After the break you will return full of excitement - works for me-.

If you want to improve your game it would be mandatory to play with some real money other wise your game will remain static and just decent for the freerolls stakes. I have a friend of mine who turned $200 initial bankroll to 2K in less than a year through studying , grinding and believe me after many many bad beats but it is part of the game!

It has to do solely with your priorities and how seriously you take your hobby :)
