Felt or something that makes looking at the cards and playing with the chips feel comfortable. nothing worse then trying to shuffle a deck or look at your cards and you cant get a good grip on them because the table is too slick.

Have a set of rules ready to go just incase there is any confusion or confrontation about what has happened in the game or hand. Good money management make sure you keep a record or something of how many people have entered and how much cash you should have, no one wants to worry later that some of it may be missing.
