When I'm in the opposite side of the hand where I'm on a draw and lose but end up hitting my straight, I just laugh it out, say "well, at least I made my straight. :D" and just rebuy. I don't get butthurt or upset over putting my money in behind and not winning the pot. But man, I didn't know joking around with "well, at least you made your straight/flush/etc" can be very offensive. I didn't think it was that big of a deal.
