As I have been watching players from Canada and Great Britain, amongst other locations, grind the tournaments and cash games, I admit to feeling no small amount of jealousy as they play on PokerStars, FullTilt and Party Poker.  I recall all too well my days trying to win a Satellite into the Sunday Million, bouncing my bankroll between FullTilt and Party trying to find the "fishiest rooms," and simply enjoying playing with folks from all over the world.

I miss all those poker sites like I miss old friends. I sometimes glimpse them on the street, but I can't step up and say hello, or have a chat with them...  The familiar chime that it's your turn...  Those crazy cartoon avatars to choose from...  Why can't I log on and play a SNG under that big maroon spade?

I remain hopeful (and an activist) for the return of online poker to the United States.  Yes, I know, we still have a few card rooms, but they're not the same.  It's not PokerStars.  It's not FullTilt where you play and learn with the Pros!

Come back to me, Party Poker...  I remain sad and bankrolled in the ole USA...
