However being the optimist that I am (read FOOL) I tried a $3-6 limit game the other night at the Rio. I lost $100 so fast, my head spun round and round. Why did I stay past my $50 threshold? It was like watching a train wreck. I couldn't leave. I'd have the best hand all the way to the river and some meathead with 3-4o would river the hand...time and time again. I simply couldn't believe how it was happenning; EVERY hand, they'd run me down. I was shocked. Finally came to my senses and got out. I think I'll stay to $2-4 till I get better/tighter. I've been successful at 2 locals casinos (Orleans and Sam's Town and one off-strip joint (Palms). I even got quad 2s at the Palms on Monday (got $112). We're leaving on the Card Player cruise on Saturday. Card Player will have 3 tourneys and private cash games. I'm fairly certain they WON'T have $2-4 limit...oh, what to do? I'll buy into the tourneys but I'll bring a couple novels so I have something to do after I lose my shirt(s). Ohhh, maybe they'll have strip poker. Yum! [/QUOTE]
