[QUOTE="GWU73, post: 1913525, member: 88835"] Bet and raise frequently for the small money, have the nuts for the big money. Try picking on weak players? You get to take down some dead money while establishing your image. Maybe straddle a couple times. Throw in a light 3bet? Open with some speculative hands early, for a raise. I have had people laughing at me for open raising decent hands like JTs utg as I collected a nice pot a few times. I have not played 2/5nl. Your opponents may be better than the people I have played with. The biggest game I have found is 1/2nl, in a um ... less than legal card room, but this has worked for me: I generally just play laggy (ie. Super System as a back bone) until they start fighting back and change gears. Then change back if I start getting respect for my bets and raises. If I hit a couple hands I tend to raise the agression level even further, but not to rediculouse levels. Picking on weak players who fold easily anyway is also a great way to give a false impression of your looseness. It amazes me how often people fold better hands or stack off with weak hands and complain about how agressive I am. I recommend this alot, but if you have not, read Small Stakes No Limit holdem.
