Poker is the best thinking game there is. In my opinion, of course. Chess is a thinking game but for me it has no creativity to it. Oh I know chess lovers will tell me I couldn't be more wrong, but again, it's just my opinion. I grew up playing a lot more chess than poker, in fact I played almost no poker at all until my adult years. Chess never held my interest like poker does, because in poker, I have to constantly use my brain to strategize and adapt to table conditions. Poker is like a puzzle that never ends and you never fall into a rut because of the constant adjustments required to adapt to a table of tight players one tournament and then adapt to a table of loose aggressive players in the next one. I love thinking games, and I honestly cannot name a better one than my beloved poker. The fact you can win money playing poker is a secondary aspect for me (it's the primary aspect for almost all poker players of course). I have always played poker because I love to play poker. It's why I use the play chips on Poker Stars where my US government has otherwise banned its citizens from playing. They still are the best poker site by far, and damn it, I'm still gonna play there even its only with play chips. It's good poker on there, despite what many people think about play chip poker. Money isn't everything. :-)
