Depending on the table, it could only be a slight difference, or it could be a huge difference. Part of that is how you carry yourself, and as long as you're comfortable with the dynamics, it doesn't matter what they are. Once again, you can get both men and women to make more mistakes against you because of your gender and the way you carry yourself. I get away with more semi-bluffs against other women. 3. Really consider your attitude at the table. Having a serious poker face isn't always the best way to make money. If you're relaxed and friendly, it will rub off on other people. If people are having fun, they don't care as much if they are winning, because they are paying for the entertainment at that point. A friendly female can definitely improve the mood of a table. To sum it up, you can keep the fish around longer!! So my first experience playing poker was when I was 22. I had my aunt explain the rules to me 10 min before a little $20 rebuy tourney started in Vegas. I knew I was just playing for fun, because poker takes skills, and I barely knew the rules. It was exhilarating, my heart was pounding the entire time, I was so nervous and excited. I didn't cash, but I outlasted over half the field which made me happy. Definitely worth the money.
