I remember a real bad time in my life I was about 9 we were getting put out of our apartment because my dads ex wife cleared their bank and left me my dad and my brother. We wound up having to move to a different city but after the hard work cleaning and packing on top of that already being poor we were all deflated. my dad got me and my brother put a 10 dollar bill in the middle of a big box and pulled out some plastic chips and said “it’s a winner take all tournament” and I don’t remember anything except playing all night with them and actually winning. I’m sure I didn’t understand the exact rules my dad had taught me because that was a few months after he had actually explained them in our first home game but it was great. we walked to McDonald’s in the morning I always use to think it was a huge treat and my dad congratulated me and thanked me for the food. Worst time in my life but I wouldn’t trade the memory for the world. I hope you guys enjoyed this one there are alot of emotions behind this story.
