Online, you can play multiple tables at the same time - so the volume output is way better and you can stop/ resume whenever you want, also you don't need to worry about the acting/ reading skills- plus you can switch tables easily online if you have tough opponents around while live, in most places, you can't really do that... Also, people live play differently than online- way more loose and agresive, so if you don't have a decent bankroll you might be in serious trouble if you are unlucky...
