But the safe answer here is that the successful players put a ton of volume to their game. When a good reg has ITM% ~ 15%-17% you can easily tell what that means. 100 tourneys in order to cash in 15-17 of those. And that ITM% doesn't mean that they final-table all 17 of them!

If you don't have a large sample you cannot extract safe results.If you are a player who plays 1-2 MTTs per day you have to wait and waaaaait in order to observe if you are really good or no!A weeks's bad run means nothing in the longterm.

If you are really good and want to see directly your results in tour bankroll then cash games are for you.Less variance and everyday small winnings but constant!
