I lost my first two initial deposits of $100 when I started playing online, and after that I got pissed because of variance, that I kinda learned the hard way. After that, it hasn't been an issue.

Did you disregard everything or moderate it off the bat? [/B]Starting out, I simply tried to emulate what I seen the majority of pros doing. After a couple of years, I finally found my own style that worked for me.

How much did you win/lose in your first month of really getting into it? [/B]$200 went straight into the can, after two $100 deposits. Both times I started off with 10/25nl, and variance tore me apart.

 Last, but not least! What was your FIRST big lesson?? [/B]Learning how to properly control myself when I went on tilt. Being able to realize that your head isn't properly in the game and being able to step away from the tables is one of the hardest things about the game IMO.
