I think that you should be happy that you have the knowledge and experience to be able to make those folds.  That IS NOT A BAD LAY DOWN.  In my opinion this play is THE RIGHT play in which you lost a small number of chips when AFTER THE FACT you know you would have won a large number of chips.  But hindsight is 20/20, so what you need to remember is that you should not be wagering any amount to see the turn and river unless you think you can outplay your opponent if you feel he/she has not hit the board, or you really think your hand might improve.  Of course both of these things are feelings you get from observing your player, knowing your player and making a decision.  That does not make the decision correct, but sometimes for a runner runner full house ; Lucky?
It may be better to be lucky than good as irish dave points out in his signature, but at least you will hold on to those chips when you make the right play and that runner runner doesnt show up....:hello:
