When is the best time to play poker (=more profitable?)

I prefer to play on weekends when there are a lot of people playing. This is the most profitable time for me. But now, unfortunately, I often have problems with electricity and communication, so I play whenever there is an opportunity.

more people playing = more amateurs (not playing very well) = more chances to win your money, not sure, might just not add up given moving situations, unconventional play
OR
fewer players = more predictable and comfortable play = more chances to get to the prizes, not a fact, I think a good player can also be unpredictable, trying to find the keys to your game

For me personally: look for the best tournament regardless of the day of the week and show my game

Honestly, whenever you're most rested and at peace. If I'm shaken up by anything in my life anyhow, I know I am doomed. Clear mindset is most important - sleep, eat well and don't hesitate to get into yoga! It really really helps Not just with playing good, but with coping with losses and pacing yourself.

I guess best time is when is right for YOU, not necessarily dependent on your opponent's number...
